Maybe I Should Be in Glee Addicts Anonymous

Yeah, the title speaks for its self. The only thing it doesn't say is, " Hi my name is Meredith and I am a Glee addict." The reason that it doesn't say that is because no one is there to say, "Hi Meredith." in very dull voices.
On a differently random note my life in middle school is completely random and kinda boring.
It's random because while I am at my bus stop in the morning who knows what could happen?!
First act of randomness- lady in her mid 70s to mid 80s was walking her chihuahua looking dog(Normal right? Wrong!) in her pink frilly night gown and she was wearing white socks with those black leather,high heeled slippers. It was really creepy.
Second act of randomness- a tractor drives down the street in front of us. Not as weird as pajama lady but still out of the ordinary.
Third act of randomness- an eighth grade football player who rides my bus brought Popsicles for the whole bus when they got on. It was a nice gesture but I didn't want one. So since I turned the Popsicle down the bus driver gets on that radio thingy and is all like, "Why didn't you take a Popsicle? Everyone got a Popsicle." And I said, "I don't want one." and she was like, "Okay, then."
Middle school life is boring because the sixth graders only have one team, which means that we all have the same teachers. Because of this I haven't been texting as much. It's not all bad it's just weird.
Random burst of randomness- I got a "Facebook", now I will ask you to brace yourselves for the following punctuation mark.....................! Intense.
So that is an update on how boringly random my life has become.

The Second New Look

Okay, I already know what you are thinking and it most likely goes along the lines of , " Oh! she changed the look of her blog because of the first birthday of her blog! That's really awesomely cool!!" For all the people who thought that you are way off. Like the you should be at the North Pole but you are in the Bahamas. So, anyway the real reason I changed the blog look is because "Blogger" had to go do this template designer thingy and "The Cutest Blog on the Block" is not compatible with the template that I had. So this little surprise, witch was about the equivalent to a dog pooping in your shoe, took like half a day to fix. Hope you all like it!!

So did I mention that "Dr. Pepper Addict" is a year old. Wow! I feel like I should bake a cake or something, but then again blogs can't eat cake so that might get a little messy. Oh and Tiger is like four now, and Obi is still older than dirt but he's cute and living with Jacqui at her house, which has been deemed Obi's "Retirement Home." And Blue is ten. I think. If I am wrong correct me. Also I am out of elementary school and I am getting a locker in like one and a half weeks. And this paragraph is like a ginormous run-on sentance!! But, as I was saying there's this movie coming out that makes fun of the Twilight movies. Don't get me wrong I love the Twilight books and Eclipse the Movie because Eclipse stays turest to the books. Anyway the movie is called Vampires Suck and it comes out on Wenesday August 18th. So, anyway I was reading my blog and I saw that I still owe you all a post about Cinco de Mayo. That will come soon.

What the...?

Okay so I am totally freakin' awful and by that I mean that I haven't blogged since May!!!!! "Oh my gosh! How does she live like that???!!!" is probably what you are thinking right now. I know right!

To sum up my summer in like a paragraph I should probably say that my summer is made up of some really bizarre happenings that will have their very own post for further explanation, for example:

• Charred Jalapeno peppers. Yeah, I know this is weird. Further explanation to come.
• Flying nieces. Do not adjust your computer screens you really read that right.
• Magnet collecting. For my locker.

Then there are the things that I can sum up in a bullet point, like:

• My new addiction to Trident spearmint gum. Yes I know there are people out there who really hate gum, I am not one of them. I go through an eighteen pack in approx. a week. I am chewing some now as a matter of fact this piece is my second today. And after about every meal I'll dig around in my purse and say "I deserve a piece of gum" because I do.
• Me winning an art contest. Yeah I entered two pieces and won first for both because they were in different categories. One was in photography an one was painting.
• Church Camp. Pretty self-explanatory.

Okay, yeah that wasn't one paragraph but you know what I mean, right?

Stuff That Has Happened

Hey, I am sorry that I haven't posted in a while but I am now!!! Here's what has happened in the last like,month:

1) Cinco De Mayo.

Yeah, I know that I am not of Mexican descent but, it was Wednesday and my youth group decided to go to a Mexican restaurant to celebrate. Let me just say that this one needs its own post because there were people singing karaoke, people were also standing around with beers and margaritas ( with i think it is very odd that my church's youth group went there because at my church we don't allow any form of alcohol at wedding receptions).

2) Mom's 50th birthday

That was a lot of fun and then Jacqui spent the night with us and we had a Dairy Queen chocolate blizzard cake that Mom spilt all over our white couch and then I also spilt on my white shorts. There will also be a post about that too.

3) I got glasses.

I promise that there will be pictures!!

4) Mothers' Day

Mom's totally rock! Well, women rock in general but moms are at the top of the list.

5) I am going to get braces and all the "fun" that goes with them.

At my last dental app. I learned that my teeth are all wacko and stuff . There will be a brand new post about that.

6) Betty White hosted Saturday Night Live!!

I love Betty White. She is awesome. I also love to watch reruns of The Golden Girls. I have the whole theme song memorized. : )

That is all that has happened to me in the last month. Woo. I am kinda glad April is overbecause school is out next month and that means that I will be done with the 5th grade and out of elementary shool!!

Twilight!!!!!!

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while, I have been busy beyond belief! So if you are wondering why I named this post after the bestselling novel by Stephanie Meyer you have come to the right6 place! I FINALLY finished "Twilight!" After 5 whole months of reading it (just for the record: I started and stooped like fifteen times before I finished it) I got done with it! I was about half way through it when I skipped church and read for about 8 solid hours with a break for lunch. Then the Tuesday after that I got "New Moon" and finished it by the the next Saturday which, by the way, was last Saturday. So that means that I am on Eclipse right now and as for the fourth book...well I am not going to read it until about 7th or 8th grade because I heard some...things about it that I won't share over the Internet. Honestly, I think those books are like a drug! You know how the people who really like "Star Trek" are called " Trekies"? And even though I made this next one up myself it still counts, the people who really like "Star Wars" are what I like to call "Waries"? Well I call the people who really like "Twight", "Twighties." I know it sounds like "tighty whities" but it's really the thought that counts, right? Well, I would call my self a "twightie." On a different note, Stephanie Meyer if you are out there reading this in any way shape or form, I think that you are a genus! Personally I think that your books are very addictive which goes very well with this blog. So blog readers/followers out there what do You think of "Twilight"? Do you like the books or the movies better? And finally the ultimate question for all "twighties"- Team Edward or Team Jacob? I am so Team Edward its not even funny! So feel free to answer these questions through a comment.

Where Did Everyone Go?

Has everyone forgotten about their blogs? I mean, like I have almost no blog updates on my dashboard. I feel like "Eleanor Rigby"- blog version. Also, I would like you to know that the URL for my new blog is meredithstyle.blogspot.com. That was a link, so that means that you can click on the URL and visit my new blog and then follow it!!! WooHoo!! Now I have something that I want to address. That thing is that I, and a whole bunch of people that live in my area, have noticed that like all of the meteorologists in the Springfield, MO. area are wrong all the time. For example, today it wasn't supposed to snow at all today, yeah, it snowed all day today and we were SUPPOSED to get 8 inches of snow (which is a lot for us) ,we didn't even get a 1/2 inch! I don't want to be all negative and all but, you know, you get your hopes up (I need to learn not to do that) and you make plans to go sledding ( and possibly blog ) , then you hopes are crushed right before your eyes because you have to go to school. Let me tell you first hand, it stinks! I am never trusting the meteorologists in my town again! I don't have anything else to write about so bye blog readers! : )

On a different note how did everyone like the Super Bowl 40? Like who were you for? I was for the Colts, even though that they lost. : ( That was very sad. But I think they played a good game , but then again I don't know like anything about football plus I was focusing more on eating my chicken wings and guacamole than on the game. So that might have changed my outlook on the game slightly. ; ) Yeah, you know, just "slightly".

So tonight it's suppost to snow in Springfield. Then it's suppost to snow all day tomorrow. Hopefully that means a snowday for me! Well, I don't really have anything else to say. Stay cool blog readers! PEACE!!!!
