- The very last Springfield Borders bookstore went out of business. I cried when I heard the grim news. I bought a book on my very last trip to Borders. I was sad. * cue sad face*
- The lock on my locker had to cut off. It got stuck after lunch one day and I had to go get the custodian and I also had to go to the assistant principal for a new lock. It was really screw-y.
- I got my yearbook. Not exactly what you would call crazy but, holy crap! I'm in a lot of pictures.
- It rained. Not just a sprinkle, no, this was hard rain that was insanely cold and it was falling at full force. Also, it always seemed to come right as I got off the bus and walked a block east toward my house. I also turned blonde and temporarily misplaced my umbrella during these fits of rain.
- We had a discussion on how dangerous lightning is in science class. Later that same day, as I was walking home wearing my wire- framed glasses, mostly metal earrings, a sterling silver neacklace and ring, there's a freaking LIGHTNING STORM!!!!!! Scared out of my wits, I sprint home barefoot, (I didn't want my shoes to get wet.) like a madman on fire and unlock the door as fast as possible and step into the entry way sopping wet and freezing cold.
- I was in a church musical. I think I did pretty well, I mean you would too if you won two Tony awards for outstanding performance in a church musical and best church musical set painting . Neil Patrick Harris is very nice, by the way. He hosted the Tony Awards this year for those of you who didn't know.
There is probably a whole handful of events I left out and I just can't remember them or I left them out for legal reasons.
